BEES striker Ivan Toney is "aware" that the club faces one of its most difficult games of the season next but knows points need to start being won.
Toney who scored for the third successive game against Everton was not able to help Brentford succumb to a fifth defeat in a row in all competitions.
The result against the Toffees saw the Bees exit from the FA Cup in the fourth round, although now the club can focus on securing their spot in the Premier League for next season.
Brentford have not won any points in the league since January 3 when they beat Aston Villa 2-1 at home.
Their next game is against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, which is arguably the hardest fixture of the Premier League season given the Citizen's record at home.
Toney is the club's top scorer this season with six goals, despite having a baron run of eight games without a goal.

He said: “I’m very aware we need to get back to winning ways but I am aware going to the Etihad is relatively difficult if you are a club in the bottom 14.
“It is rare for clubs to take points.
“We are going there with belief we can get points but aware it is one of the most difficult games of the season.”
