The club released a statement that said: "Brentford FC Head Coach Thomas Frank has accepted a Football Association fine.
"Thomas was charged with a breach of FA Rule E3.1 following Brentford’s Premier League against Wolverhampton Wanderers last Saturday, 22 January.
"Thomas admitted the charge and accepted the standard penalty. He was given an £8,000 fine.
