By Paul Schoonenberg London Broncos were defeated 46-4 at Hull in the Tetley's Rugby Super League on Sunday to leave them firmly at the bottom of the table without a point in three games in which they have conceded 130 points.
Former Halifax winger Lee Greenwood, on his debut after recovering from a foot injury, was the Broncos only scorer when he was first to reach Dennis Moran's grubber to touch down in the corner. But Hull led 12-4 at half-time and then added seven second-half tries, with ex-Broncos academy star Peter Lupton getting one of them.
Hull scorers were: tries - Colin Best 2, Ritchie Barnett jnr. 2, Ritchie Barnett, Lupton, Cooke, Garreth Carvell, Richard Whiting; goals - Paul Cooke 5.
Broncos coach Tony Rea, who is making changes to his squad, said: "We were beaten by a better team but I wasn't happy with the way my side played individually. The ball is now firmly in our court. It's up to all of us to get things in order when we entertain Salford in a rescheduled match this Sunday (3pm).
"If we are going to turn this around, there can be no better venue or time for us to do so."
Broncos: Sykes, Greenwood, O'Halloran, Roy, McNally, Bowker, Moran, Retchless, Budworth, Trindall, Mbu, Hart, Dymock. Subs: Brocklehurst, Haughey, Stephenson, Stringer.
Radney Bowker, who joined Broncos in the close season from Salford, is not being retained by the London club now that his four-month trial has expired, but Broncos have extended the original trial contract of Andy McNally for the rest of the season, and have brought in Leeds 18-year-old stand-off Scott Murrell. Rising star Murrell makes his debut against Salford as Broncos have been hit by injuries to Purdham, Toshack, Sanderson, Kirkpatrick, Wells and Highton.
