Brentford boss Andy Scott is looking for his side to bounce back from opening week defeats to Bury and Swansea City when his side entertain Grimsby Town on Saturday.
Scott's men have failed to register a goal in 180 minutes of competitive football and could be without nine first team players after striker Nathan Elder suffered a dead leg and Marcus Bean was sent-off in Tuesday's Carling Cup defeat in south Wales.
Former Bees skipper Matt Heywood, who quit Brentford in the summer to head north, is expected to be in the Mariner's squad for the League Two clash at Griffin Park.
