CHELSEA are reportedly attempting to hijack city rivals Tottenham Hotspur's move for Wolves winger Adama Traore.
Thomas Tuchel is interested in signing the Spanish forward this month according to The Football Terrace.
There have been reports that Spurs were closing in on a deal to sign the 25-year-old for a £20 million fee, however, the Blues could beat them to his signature.
Italian manager Antonio Conte has been suggested to want to use former Wolves defender Matt Doherty as a sweetener in a deal for Traore.
However, injury to Blues defender Reece James has turned Thomas Tuchel's head to the transfer market and towards Traore.
Traore's versatility would also make him a more attractive option. The wide man can play in the front three which will add healthy competition to Chelsea's attack.
