Tyrrells has revealed it will be launching a new flavour of crisps in supermarkets across the UK in September.

The "premium" crisp brand is already responsible for flavours including Sweet Chilli & Red Pepper, Smoked Paprika, Truffle & Sea Salt and the classic Lightly Sea Salted.

It also has a range of veg, lentil and furrows crisps.

Tyrrells, in July, released limited-edition Wensleydale and Cranberry flavoured crisps, in a collaboration with Wallace and Gromit.

Now Tyrrells has revealed it will be launching another new flavour of crisps - Roasted Chicken & Sage.

Describing what to expect from the new crisp flavour, a Tyrrells spokesperson said: "Tyrrells crisps have oodles of flavour to tickle your tastebuds, and this new flavour is no exception.

"The succulent taste of roast chicken is complemented by the aromatic, earthy notes of sage, creating a flavour profile that brings to mind the comforting essence of a Sunday roast dinner."

Tyrrells crisps are made using "the finest British spuds" and are free of artificial colours and flavours.

Marketing Manager at Tyrrells, Jane Jones, added: "At Tyrrells, we continue to lead the premium crisp sharing category, and our latest creation is no exception!
