Taskmaster has proven to be a fairly popular show for Dave, and now Channel 4, in recent years and new details about the latest series have been revealed.

As in every series, a new cast of comedians will be taking on a whole host of ridiculous challenges, all under the watchful eye of Greg Davies and Alex Horne.

Sophie Duker won the previous series, beating out Ardal O'Hanlon, Bridget Christie, Judi Love and Chris Ramsey.

When will Taskmaster series 14 air on Channel 4

The first episode will air on Channel 4 on Thursday, September 29 at 9pm, with weekly episodes to follow after that.

New Taskmaster lineup

The new line up for Taskmaster series 14 is as follows:

Dara Ó Briain is known for hosting the BBC panel show Mock the Week as well as The Panel, and The Apprentice: You're Fired!.

Fern Brady is a Scottish comedian who has appeared on several panels such as 8 Out of 10 Cats and the Dave travelogue show British as Folk.

John Kearns is know for his comedy shows, such as Shtick, as well as appearing in the BBC Three sitcom Top Coppers.

Munya Chawawa is a comedian whose popularity grew during the Covid-19 pandemic, where he created parody news sketches and got attention for his 2019 Fire in the Booth freestyle.

Finally, Sarah Millican is an comedian with great experience of stand-up touring and British comedy panel shows.

Taskmaster series 14 will begin airing on Channel 4 at 9pm on Thursday, September 29 and can also be watched on All4
