Army veterans and those currently serving the country were treated to a performance from the Twickenham Sea Cadets band and Richmond Music Trust.
Young musicians from Sapphire Brass and the Twickenham Sea Cadets band played at the cadet’s unit, entertaining with favourites such as Colonel Bogey and the Muppets theme tune.
Lieutenant Keith Walker, the commanding officer of Twickenham Sea Cadets, said: “I’m very proud of all the cadets and the young people from Richmond Music Trust and I hope that next time we perform our band might be even bigger and better.”
Vickie Curran, brass team leader at Richmond Music Trust, said: “Our musicians were very impressed with how well the cadets played but also how smart they were in their uniforms.
“It was a great opportunity for two groups of children to play some wonderful music together.
I’m pretty sure this won’t be the last time that we will work together.”
