Children have been encouraged to get creative and try their hand at designing this year’s Richmond in Bloom poster.
Competition judges will look for paintings of one or more flowers for a poster to publicise this summer’s gardening contest. The best entry in each of four age groups will win a touch-screen wireless weather forecaster for their school.
The top 12 participants across all categories will get personal art packs and their winning designs will be exhibited at events throughout the summer, including Richmond in Bloom’s marquee in Richmond Park when the Queen visits on May 15.
Entry forms are available at schools in the borough, or from richmondboroughinbloom.co.uk.
