A teenager is due in court today in connection with 15 robberies.
The 16-year-old, from Southall, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at Ealing Magistrates’ Court alongside 22-year-old Sarah Hussain and Akeel Shakeel, 20, both from Southall.
All three were charged yesterday with conspiracy to rob in connection with 15 violent robberies across four boroughs between April 27 and June 22 this year.
One of the robberies took place in Hospital Bridge Road, Twickenham, at 3.15am on May 29.
Three further robberies occured in Hounslow, including two within an hour of each other in the early hours of May 23.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police's crime squad worked alongside police from Richmond, Ealing, Hillingdon and Hounslow on the case.
