Students at Hampton Community College showed off their talents just before the end of term in a Britain's Got Talent-style show.
HCC's Got Talent, organised by year 10 students as part of an enterprise project, saw children from all ages showing off their skills.
At the grand final, a panel of three judges - musician Andrew Campbell-Curtis, Amy Howard, dance officer at Harlequins Rugby League Foundation and John Baumber, chief executive of the Learning Schools’ Trust, which will run the new academy set to take over from HCC next month – chose year 10 students Nicole Gear and George Rutherford as the winners.
Their rendition of the Snow Patrol song Set The Fire To The Third Bar saw off competition from year 9 comedy duo Louis Jones and Miftahur Razzak and year 8 singer Kirsty Walton.
The organisers charged £1 entry to the competition and sold refreshments to raise further money.
Kim Drennan, who organised the enterprise project, said she was delighted with the students’ hard work.
