A woman has died after being repeatedly stabbed at a house in Hounslow.
Police found the 44-year-old with multiple stab wounds at an address in Great South West Road at about 6am yesterday.
Officers carried out CPR until ambulance crews arrived.
The woman was taken to West Middlesex Hospital but later died.
A postmortem examination is due to be held today at Fulham Mortuary.
Detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command have launched a murder inquiry.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. He remains in custody at a west London police station.
