Kingston Trampolining Academy youngster Beth Anne Lumb became the only athlete from the London region to be crowned an individual British Champion in Birmingham at the weekend.
The 16-year-old former Teddington School student delivered a faultless display to be named National C Over 15 Double Mini Trampoline (DMT) Champion on Sunday.
Her performance was a highlight of a successful weekend for the Kingston College-based academy as they also claimed the men’s Over 15 DMT Team and the women's U15 DMT Team titles, which had Teddington's Georgia Grant it in its ranks.
Tolworth 18-year-old Ross Harding added Over 15 National C DMT bronze to the team gold he won with Sutton 16-year-old Joe Edgar and Luton’s Matt Douglas.
While 23-year-old Thames Ditton teacher Sophie Clift won individual and team Over 15 National C DMT silver, and Wimbledon’s Emma Britton, 16, also got silver in the senior women synchro category.
