A "predatory" sex offender has today pleaded guilty to two rapes.
Keith Fenton - already serving a jail term for rape - was due to stand trial at Kingston Crown Court on two counts of rape but changed his plea.
He had pleaded guilty to three charges of attempted trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence at an earlier hearing.
He will be sentenced for the rapes, which took place in Ealing, and the attempts to trespass, which all took place in Kew, on September 24.
Fenton, 38, was handed a 15-year jail sentence at Kingston Crown Court in November 2008 for a series of offences including sexual assault, false imprisonment and aggravated burglary.
One of the crimes was a robbery and sexual assault on a 70-year-old woman in her Richmond home when Fenton was staying at the Kew approved premise.
The knifepoint attack in June 2008 - described by police officers as sickening - lasted 45 minutes.
During the attack Fenton gagged the pensioner, stuffing her own ripped clothing into her mouth.
Prior to his release, Fenton, of Southall, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in July 1998 for raping an eight-and-a-half months' pregnant woman and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old.
Judge Charles Tilling, who sentenced Fenton in November 2008, said the offences were dreadful and he should serve longer than the seven-and-a-half year minimum term.
After being sentenced he confessed to police about other offences and earlier this year pleaded guilty to three charges of attempted trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence.
On May 16, 2008, he tried to break into a house with a screwdriver and at some point between March 6 and June 22, 2008, he tried to get into a property by removing putty from around a window and another by climbing up a lightning conductor and attempting to enter via an open window.
This morning he pleaded guilty to two counts of rape on a woman at a property in Ealing, also between March 6 and June 22, 2008.
Crown Prosecution Service lawyer (CPS) Roz Wardell said: “Although already serving a significant prison sentence the CPS concluded that this case was in the public interest to proceed with.
“It is important for the victims of the offences to see justice done and for the scale of Keith Fenton’s criminality to be recorded.
“The CPS worked with the police from a very early stage in order to establish the veracity of Fenton’s claims and ensure that those who may not have realised they were targeted by him were not alarmed unduly by his claims.
“Keith Fenton is a predatory serial sex offender and these further convictions will ensure he is not allowed back into society for a long time.”
