Police are today hunting a group of burglars after a smash-and-grab raid at a jewellery shop in Richmond.
It is the second time Courlanders jewellers, on the corner of George Street and Paved Court, has been targeted in the past month.
Eyewitnesses said up to four men, armed with sledgehammers, pulled up outside the shop on motorbikes at about 11am before smashing a window and fleeing with jewellery.
Police cordoned off the area and officers remain at the scene as investigations continue.
A spokesman for Richmond police said: "Police were called at approximately 11am to reports of a burglary at Courlanders jewellers.
"At this stage it is believed four men on two botorbikes smashed the front window with sledgehammers and took a quantity of jewellery.
"They headed off towards Wandsworth."
The raid echoed a similar attack on the shop on April 2.
Police appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
The two motorbikes, one red and one black, were described by police as high-performance vehicles.
All of the raiders wore black clothing and crash helmets.
