After four years working with the Museum of Richmond, assistant curator Abigail Thomas is moving on.
Abigail joined the museum in September 1993 as a part-time assistant and was appointed full-time assistant curator two years later. She will be moving to Hove to take up the post of Keeper of Hove Museum and Art Gallery. She said: "I am sad to be leaving the museum but thrilled to get the post at Hove. I have enjoyed working at the museum immensely and have found developing the education and exhibitions programmes particularly rewarding."
Abigail was largely responsible for putting together Richmond's current exhibition: Richmond Women: Face to Face, which traces the many famous women who lived in Richmond and runs until March 14.
