While chasing after girls is a common hobby for 13-year-old boys, dressing up as them is not so usual.

But a group of boys, who attend schools in the area, will be doing just that to raise money for Sport Relief next weekend.

The friends will be meeting in Ravenscourt Park, dressed as ladies to take part in a sponsored three-legged race next Saturday.

Innes Evans, 13, from Marlborough Road, Chiswick, said: “I am hoping we might be able to raise more than £1,000.

“It’s going to be hard work, especially as we have promised to dress up as girls and wear full make-up.”

The idea to dress up as women came from the teenager’s mum, who thought doing a simple three-legged race would be too easy.

Mum Rachel Evans said: “When I suggested it he said ‘I’m not doing that’, but now they’ve all changed their minds.”

Sport Relief will see people nationwide taking part in sporting activities to raise money to help transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people in England and around the world.

The event kicks off at 2pm.Sponsor the boys at just giving.com/3-leggedlegends.
