THE Griffin Park Residents Association have said that they will work with Brentford Football Club towards an agreement on the proposed changes to their Griffin Park stadium.
The GPRA had been disappointed over the lack of promised consultation on the part of the club. However, following an unreserved apology from Chair Eddie Rogers at a meeting on March 24, the GPRA anticipate that progress will be possible.
Proposed changes include a roof over the Ealing Road end and a new lounge / community centre along the back of the New Road stand.
GPRA Chair Steve Curran said: "We're pleased that the club have agreed to take part in meaningful consultations. The GPRA works closely with local councillors and council officers and it's always our intention to work positively with stakeholders".
The GPRA will organise detailed consultations and working parties on the proposed changes to Griffin Park, with further meetings to be held in April.
