TWO teenage boys were attacked by robbers as they fished by the Thames in Teddington on Monday.
The boys, aged 13 and 14, were fishing by Teddington Lock Island when they were approached by two robbers who engaged them in conversation.
One of the robbers asked if he could borrow a phone and told the victim that if he didn't hand it over he would be beaten up.
He refused and was wrestled to the ground and repeatedly kicked in the head. The robber then searched his pockets and took his phone.
The other victim was also hit to the ground and headbutted, then was kicked and punched several times.
The first suspect is described as a 15-year-old white male with short brown hair. He was wearing a black duffle coat, Nike trainers which may have been blue and grey and navy blue tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the side, possibly Adidas.
The second suspect was also a 15-year-old white male, who was a bit taller than the first, with blonde hair, a white jumper with hood and tracksuit bottoms.
They ran off in the direction of Ham.
If you know who they are or have any further information on the incident call Twickenham police on 8247 7042.
