ORGANISERS of a new branch of Community Action Towards Soccer (CATS) is looking for a venue in Chiswick to enable them to begin a west London team.
Louise Scully, working on behalf of the West London Local Authority wants to start the team at the beginning of April, but she needs a base from which the team can run.
They would need space for approximately 10-15 young adults to be used as classroom space for the theory part of the twelve week course, running from Monday to Friday between the hours of 10-4pm. There are three courses planned to run in the first year.
She told the Times: "I am told the course will need to be based in Chiswick. I have asked many people for help regarding this matter but to no avail. We only have limited funds for rent but would like to know the likelihood of you having any suitable space available and how much it may cost."
The course will be open to young adults between the ages of 16-25 years old who are interested in becoming qualified football coaches. For further information email misslems@hotmail.com.
