HARRY Potter made an appearance at The William Hogarth School on Thursday along with witches and superheroes.
Pupils from the school, in Duke Road, Chiswick, dressed up as their favourite book characters for a special assembly.
The book character assembly, which included the whole school, was organised by teachers to tie in with the school's book week.
Cathy Driscoll, headteacher of The William Hogarth, is keen to ensure that pupils have fun whilst learning.
"Reading is an essential part of learning for young children and anything that makes it fun and enjoyable means they will want to read more. The assembly gives pupils the chance to imagine themselves as their favourite character and get more involved in the books they read," she said.
