A PENSIONER desperate to be reunited with her two long-lost daughters is making a heartfelt plea for information on their whereabouts.
Theresa Graves last saw her daughters when they were 12 and 13-years-old and living in Hounslow Road in Whitton. She says: "Their full names were Claire Jane Soden and Jane Kathryn Soden, but of course they could be married now, as they'll be in their 30s."
Theresa, now 66 years old, told the Richmond and Twickenham Times this week: "I just want to let them know I still love them and always have. When their father and I fell out I carried on visiting them for a while but it became too difficult."
Theresa now lives in Cambridgeshire but has returned to the borough on numerous occasions to search for Claire and Jane.
"I went to the house in Whitton, near the church, where they lived with their father and grandmother and was told they had moved and that the grandmother has died. I've tried so hard to find them and have asked at local pubs and clubs. At my age I realise it may soon be too late to have the pleasure of seeing them again."
Through her tears, Theresa said: "You must think I'm terrible to have lost my daughters but it wasn't my fault. And it wasn't that I didn't want to stay in contact, it was just very hard. I hope they understand that."
Claire and Jane, or anyone who knows them, can contact Theresa on 01354 660095.
She added: "I will understand if they don't want to see me, but I would love to know how they are getting on. I have never forgotten them for one minute."
