An executive at BSB, Isleworth, was fined over £800 for drink driving at Feltham court when he admitted the offence.
Christopher Andrew Tilley, aged 53, of Cleveland Road, Ealing, was reported to police after a witness saw him sitting in his car and drinking from a bottle of vodka.
Sally Peters, prosecuting, said that police were called to a car park in Brentford following the report to the police. They stopped Tilley and after a positive breath test arrested him. A later test showed he had 88 microgrammes of alcohol to each 100 millilitres of breath, over twice the limit.
She said he has no previous convictions.
Tilley said that he did not drive and drink at the same time. He said he had been sitting in a car park at Brentford considering a particular problem but now realised what he had done was dangerous.
He told the bench he works for BSkyB and earns £100, 000 a year.
The bench then fined him £800 with £43 costs and a one year ban with 25 per cent reduction if he complete a rehab course.
