A HEARTLESS thief made off with £20 from a charity box destined to help children in war torn countries.
The thief entered the One Stop Shop on Bear Road, Hanworth, at around 9.15pm on Sunday March 7, walked up to the counter and snatched the box, which was collecting money for the Action for Children in Conflict charity. He then ran out of the shop and drove off in a white car.
The thief is described as a white male, aged between 20 - 25, around 6 foot tall, of a skinny build and wearing a blue hooded top and blue jeans.
