CUSTOMERS across the Thames Water area are to receive a questionnaire with their water bills, as part of a survey to find out whether they are water efficient.
Around two million customers will, from later this month, be sent an insert with their bills, asking them if they use water-saving devices such as trigger nozzles or water butts. They will also get the opportunity to request a free device which can be fitted in toilet cisterns to reduce the amount used per flush.
The questionnaire follows news that last year was the third driest on record in the Thames Water region, with the lowest rainfall since 1973.
The leaflet also includes tips on how to help conserve supplies.
