TWO pedigree cats found dumped in a skip in Richmond are looking for a new home.
The cream ginger male and silver tabby female, who are both Cornish Rexes, were taken to the RSPCA Southall Cattery by employees of Richmond upon Thames Council after being found in a cat carrier.
Both the cats, similar to Siamese but with short curly hair, have been neutered and have no serious problems.
A spokeswoman for the cattery said: "Although they were together, the cats have been split up because the female bullies him. The male is very laid back and affectionate. She's quite forward."
Anyone considering adopting the pets needs to be able to commit a lot of time to them.
"They don't like being left," continued the spokeswoman. "And we are looking for someone who knows about Siamese or Rexes because they are not like normal cats."
Anyone interested in offering them a home can contact the cattery on 0870 0101846.
