RICHMOND Park MP Jenny Tonge set something of a record last week by asking questions during five separate debates in the House of Commons.
Her name came up in the ballot for Prime Minister's Questions, which she used for tackling Tony Blair on the future of Heathrow airport.
But as well as that, although her name was not on the order paper for any other debates, the speaker called her during defence questions, Foreign Office questions, international development questions and Treasury questions.
Dr Tonge's colleagues were left wondering what the secret was behind her prolific appearances.
Her questions ranged from progress on the millennium development goals to the National Army Museum's reluctance to commemorate the Medloc train, which used to transport soldiers from the Mediterranean front back to England on leave during the Second World War.
