THE family of Marsha McDonnell will be handing over a cheque in her memory to the Shooting Star Hospice for Children next week.
So far, more than £35,000 has been raised for the Marsha McDonnell Fund set up in memory of the murdered teenager. The cheque will be presented at the Fulwell Arms pub in Teddington on Saturday, March 20.
It is expected that Jack, Marsha's younger brother, will hand it to the Shooting Star founder, Kate Turner, and director of operations and marketing, Dalton Leong.
The money will be used to fund the build and running costs of the music therapy room in the Shooting Star Hospice for Children, which is due to open later this year, subject to National Care Standards registration.
