BUDDING photographers are invited to enter a competition organised by Richmond upon Thames Arts Council.
There is no theme; entrants can decide what to submit but what is required is an eye for a picture, and the judges will be looking for originality and well-presented prints.
Subjects could include portraits, sport, landscapes, local views, nature, humour, patterns or texture.
Whether you regard photography as an occasional pursuit or a serious interest, or use a camera professionally, everyone is welcome to enter whatever your experience behind the lens.
Prizes of cash or vouchers will be presented at a special ceremony this summer in Richmond, where the best entries will be exhibited before moving on to other venues in south west London.
You can enter up to three mounted prints either colour of black and white in any size up to 350mm x 425mm. Entries may be digital or film based.
All entries must be submitted by April 30 with the official entry form, copies of which are available by telephoning 8876 2822 or emailing frances44@btinternet.com.
