VISITORS to Chiswick's shops and bars now know exactly how much time they have to spend along the High Road, after the council restarted the town centre's historic clock - 15 years after it stopped.
The clock, which crowns the former fire station, now All Bar One, was fixed by Hounslow Council's street lighting team after discussions between the Council and the building's owner.
Linked to the country's atomic time transmitter in Rugby, the clock is expected to keep perfect time.
