FOR many Chiswick residents the local fox population are nothing but a nuisance, but for one French photographer they are a chance to complete a major project.
Laurent Geslin, who originates from Brittany, has been photographing wildlife for the past 10 years. He moved to Gunnersbury five years ago and was immediately captivated by the area's foxes.
Laurent, who has been published in both French and British photography magazines, has learnt to familiarise foxes to his presence in order to capture them on film. He now wants to complete his project by photographing fox cubs, with the birthing season about to take place from the end of March through to early April.
Laurent explained: "I am trying to show people that foxes are not just bin destroyers. It is a bit of wild life coming into their garden."
He is now asking residents who have fox cubs on their property to email speedpigeon@hotmail.com or phone 07905 038166.
