FORGET the winter chill and Leap into Spring' with this year's stunning dance festival.
Richmond upon Thames Council have revealed full details of their annual dance spectacular which brings a wealth of local, national and international dance talent to the borough.
Sponsored by Richmond Adult and Community College and Harlequins Rugby Club, the event will be run by the council's arts service. Cabinet member for libraries, sport, art and leisure Cllr Roger Avins, said: "This year's festival promises an exciting programme of performances as well as a great range of opportunities for people to get involved, whether it's watching or learning dance."
Highlights of the festival, which runs from March 13 to April 3, include a workshop from Harley's Angels - Harlequins' in house dance team, a Hip Swing Club Dance Party hosted by Richmond Adult and Community College, Random Dance, a highly contemporary dance show, and a tango recital.
