An unemployed asylum seeker was caught driving after drinking and appeared at Feltham court last week.
Juri Jakolev, aged 31, of Salisbury Road, Feltham, admitted driving whilst unfit through drink and failing to supply a specimen for breath and was remanded on bail for reports.
Magistrates were told he was stopped for driving in an erratic manner and as police went to his car he started to reverse it.
He appeared drunk, was unsteady on his feet and refused to give a specimen and was arrested. A doctor at a police station said he was unfit to drive and it was then discovered he had a previous similar matter in 2002. He was remanded on bail for reports.
