A YOUTH was unable to hear two would-be thieves approach as he got off a bus on Chiswick High Road listening to his Walkman.
The 16-year-old white male had disembarked from the bus near Sainsbury's. As he walked past Waterstones, he felt someone push him from behind and was forced down an alley way at the side of the Jack Stamps pub.
His two attackers forced him to his knees and demanded his mobile phone. The victim replied that he did not actually have a phone and the attackers ripped his headphones from his ears before running away empty handed.
One of the attackers was described as a male, approximately 6ft tall, wearing a dark coloured hooded top and dark jeans, and speaking with an Afro-Caribbean accent.
Anyone with information on the attack should call the police on 020 8247 6118.
