TEENAGER Lianne Hyman set about a young woman over a man and was arrested to appear at Feltham court last week.
There Hyman, aged 18, of Hounslow Hotel, Hounslow Road, Feltham admitted assaulting Charlene Walford at Feltham High Street on June 25 last year.
William Ramnirace, prosecuting, said that there had been some friction between the two girls on an earlier occasion. He said that Hyman pulled up in a car and got out and slapped the other girl across the face, She has no previous convictions, Mr Ramnirace advised the court.
Representing her, Lesley Parry told the District Judge, Stephen Day, that there had been a row between the two over a young man. The victim had made rude gestures at her client before she was assaulted and there had been words between them, before her client gave her a backhander'.
Mr Day said that it had been a stupid offence and fined Hyman a total of £170.
