Barnes Primary School shut for a week after year 3 pupil falls ill with flu-like symptoms.
The school in Cross Street, closed today as a safety precaution to allow further tests on a year 3 boy who was diagnosed with influenza.
Following advice from both the Health Protection Agency and Richmond Council it will remain closed until June 2 - after the half-term break.
Pupils attended school to sit their Sats tests this morning before going home.
Key stage two administrator Charlotte Phelan praised parents who, she said, had remained calm throughout.
A clinic session is planned for 1pm to 4.30pm today to allow parents of year three children to collect anti-viral medicine. Teachers will also be given Tamiflu.
This is the second school closure in the borough.
Hampton School closed on Monday, since then four pupils have been diagnosed with swine flu.
