Children at Twickenham’s Step On Stage Academy of Performing Arts had the opportunity of a lifetime when two BBC producers came to visit.
After being taught how to create a musical procession and how to conduct to music for the Emperor in the Emperor’s New Clothes, the children were cast to appear in the Cbeebie’s Spring Song, being aired until the end of May.
Emma-Louise Tinniswood, who runs Step On Stage, said: “The children were absolutely thrilled to be taking part and were very excited when they first saw themselves on the TV.
“This was a wonderful opportunity for them.”
The children spent a day filming in the countryside and played the role of conductors bringing spring to life.
