Firework Night is almost here, so we’ve rounded up all the firework displays you can visit in south London this year.

November 5 marks the annual celebration of Bonfire Night and with it the return of many popular firework displays in south London.

Many fireworks displays in south London have unfortunately been cancelled this year, including the Round Table Carshalton Fireworks, Carshalton Parks Fireworks, and Blackheath Fireworks.

However, some have managed to carry on this year, so here are all the fireworks displays happening in south London for Bonfire Night.

 

Sanderstead Fireworks Display

Where? Atwood Primary Academy, CR2 9EE

When? Sunday, November 3, 4.30pm to 7.30pm (fireworks 6.15pm)

How much? Families of four with a maximum of two adults pay £16.

People over the age of 16 pay £7, and children between the ages of two and 15 pay £5.

Children under the age of two go for free.

The Sanderstead Fireworks Display is an annual event and is returning for 2024.

Visitors will not be allowed to bring sparklers, outside foods or drinks (besides baby milk) in the site, and bags may be subject to visual checks.

 

Warlingham's Firework Display

Where? John Fisher Sports Club, Limpsfield Road, CR6 9RD

When? Friday, November 1, 6pm to 11pm (quiet display at 7.15pm and then main event at 8pm)

How much? Families of five (two adults and three children) pay £21.70.

People over the age of 16 pay £8.14, and children between the ages of six and 15 pay £5.50.

Children under the age of five get free entry.

The planners of the display said on their website: “The best spectacular fireworks display to music in Warlingham.

“Two displays for the price of one. Low noise 7.15pm and main event 8pm.”

 

Battersea Park Fireworks

Where? Battersea Park

When? Saturday, November 2 (Fireworks Night), to Sunday, November 3 (Family Fireworks Night).

How much? General admission (16+) is £13.10, while youth general admission (5-15) pay £8.80.

Children under that age of five get free entry.

Both nights will be accompanied by live music, fairground rides, tasty food and warming drinks.

This year they’ve got event more pre-show entertainment plus a whole host of activities to enjoy after the display.

 

Wimbledon Park Fireworks

Where? Wimbledon Park

When? Tuesday, November 5

How much? Adults (16+) pay £11, while children between the ages of five and 15 pay £8.50.

Children under five go in for free.

Wimbledon might be famous for tennis, but come November, the fireworks take centre stage.

The park hosts two displays – one for families with younger kids and a later, louder one for the bigger crowds.

There will be food stalls, funfair rides, and naturally, a massive bonfire. 

With plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the show, this event is perfect for families looking to enjoy Bonfire Night.

 

Morden Park Fireworks

Where? Morden Park

When? Saturday, November 2

How much? Adults (16+) pay £13.78, and juniors aged between five and 15 pay £10.07.

Children under the age of four go for free.

Family tickets where there are two adults and two juniors cost £40.28.

Morden Park will have two firework displays, the first for children.

Both will be set to music in the large park.

There will also be a funfair and plenty of food and drink to keep everyone entertained before and after the display.

 

Richmond Fireworks at Richmond Athletic Ground

Where? Richmond Athletic Ground

When? Sunday, November 3

How much? Grandstand view is £17.50, 16+ is £12.50, children between five and 15 pay £7.50, and under fives go in for free.

Richmond’s annual display at the Athletic Ground is a favourite with families, featuring food stalls, a bonfire, and a huge fireworks show.

 

Erith Leisure Centre Fireworks

Where? Erith Leisure Centre

When? November 1, gates open 5pm (fireworks 6pm)

How much? Adults £14, juniors £8, children under 5 free.

Erith Leisure Centre will be hosting a firework display with DJ performances and food stalls, with gates opening at 5pm and the firework display to follow at 6pm.

 

Beckenham Charity Fireworks

Where? Croydon Road Recreation Ground

When? November 2, 4:30pm-9pm (quiet display at 6pm, main display at 7:15pm)

How much? Adults £15.90, children (5-14 years) £5.30, infants (4 and under) free, concessions £10.60

This charity event has been an integral part of the community since 1946, and features a quieter fireworks display for smaller children at 6pm, before the main firework display at 7:15pm.

There will also be a huge selection of food and drink stalls and fairground rides, with the money donated to local charities.

The event is wheelchair accessible from Croydon Road and is a short walk from Beckenham Junction train station.

 

Chislehurst Rotary Fireworks

Where? Chislehurst Recreation Ground

When? November 2, 5:30pm - 9:30pm (fireworks 7pm)

How much? Adults £15, Children £7.50, Family £25, prices increase after October 11th

Returning for another year, Chislehurst Rotary Club will have fireworks from the award-winning Crazy Fire Company, along with DJ sets from DJ Tony Boing and a range of food stalls if you want to grab some food.

Gates open at 5:30pm with fireworks starting at 7pm, and all the money from the event goes to charity.

 

Bromley High School

Where? Bromley High School

When? November 9, 5:45pm - 10pm (fireworks 7:30pm)

How much? Admission only £11, or with little rides and stalls £23, or with intense rides and stalls £31.

Another returning display, this year's firework display features the High School’s “biggest funfair yet” along with a range of food stalls.

West Wickham Fireworks

Where? Club Langley, 2 Hawskbrook Lane, Beckenham, BR3 3SR

When? November 9 from 4pm (fireworks 6:30pm)

How much? Adults £10, Children (under 18) £5, under 5s free, families (2 adults and 2 children) £23

With mulled wine, hot food and a fully stocked bar, this fireworks display is a popular one for Bromley locals.

This year the event will be raising money for several local charities including St Christopher’s Hospice, Demelza House Hospice, Disability Snowsports and Magpie Dance, along with many others.

 

Dulwich Firework Display

Where? Dulwich Sports Club, Giant Arches Road, London, SE24 9HP

When? November 2 from 5pm - 7:30pm (fireworks 7pm)

How much? Full price tickets are £12.50, with children under 16 for £1.

Alongside the main event, there will also be food, music and entertainment for the children to start the evening off at 5pm before the fireworks begin.

Food offerings will include a BBQ, burgers, Indian fare and pizza, along with mulled wine and Real Ale if you fancy grabbing a drink.
