Although it's the end of October and you may have already put all your summer clothes away, you might want to get them back out of the closet.
As London is set for a mini heatwave this weekend, with temperatures as high as 22C, meaning the capital will be as hot as Spain.
The hike in autumnal temperatures will see the region experience its warmest end to an October in over eight years.
It comes after temperatures of 20.5C were recorded in St James Park on Wednesday as the Met Office now shares that temperatures will peak even higher.
Temperatures today have been closer to what we would typically see in late August than late October!

London temperatures to soar this weekend
The Met Office also shared that the city could have temperatures of 21C or 22C throughout the weekend, seeing it match the current levels in Barcelona.
The weather report shared that throughout the weekend although it might be a bit overcast it could be a bit sweaty.
Humidity will be averaging at around 80%, as the chance of precipitation varies but has a height of 50% in the early hours of the day.
There is also likely to be some wind, with wind gusts reaching 19mph during mid-day time.
Londoners may need to make the most of this short change in temperature, as it will inevitably start dropping as November comes along.
So if you are going out this Halloween, maybe leave the coat at home and swap it for more lightweight material.
