Police have been given extra powers in Richmond after anti-social behaviour incidents at a McDonald's restaurant/
A Section 35 Dispersal Order will come begin at 4pm today and last until 7am on Sunday morning.
The dispersal order follows the police making multiple arrests outside Richmond McDonald's last Friday evening.
There was also an assault on a police officer and damage to property at the McDonald's restaurant.
The Dispersal Order is in response to "issues that have been experienced at Richmond Green and surrounding areas over the last few months".
A Richmond Police spokesperson said: “Last Friday 14th Oct the gathering culminated in multiple arrests, assault on a police officer, damage to property at Richmond McDonalds and Anti-Social Behaviour.”
Officers will be out tackling anti-social behaviour this weekend in Richmond and the neighbouring areas in Kingston.
The dispersal zone will cover the following roads and open spaces: Richmond Green

Richmond Hill (Terrace Gdns)
Star & Garter Hill
Hamlands
Petersham Road
Richmond Road (Kingston)
Albert Road (Kingston)
Fairfield South
Kingston Hill Road
A307 (Turk Launches)
Kingston Bridge
Barge Walk
Hampton Court Road
Wellington Road
Sixth Cross Road
Staines Road
Heath Road
Richmond Road
Twickenham Green
Bushy Park
Kingston Town Centre
The Section 35 Dispersal Order, authorised by a police inspector, gives the police the power to prevent anti-social behaviour in a certain area.
The police have appealed to anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour over the weekend to call 101.
