LANDSCAPING proposals for the new and improved Barnes Pond will be under discussion at two public open days this weekend.
The consultation open days will take place on Saturday and Sunday at Barnes Green Day Centre between 11am and 4pm.
A member of the Barnes Pond Group will be there to answer any questions and to discuss ideas.
A council spokesman said: "Thanks to the generous sponsorship of local people, coordinated by the Barnes Community Association (BCA), Barnes Pond has now been repaired and refilled, following the mysterious disappearance of all the water in April 2001.
"The council and the BCA have been working closely together to mend the pond and to ensure that it meets the needs of local people and wildlife in the future.
"The next stage is to plant the edges and complete the landscaping."
