South west London is home to some of the most incredible Michelin Star eateries that are known to food-lovers across the UK.
A Michelin star is the ultimate symbol of culinary excellence, which is only given to the very best restaurants in a given city.
The restaurants have to be of a high standard, usually with spectacular customer service, one-of-a-kind menus and offer an exquisite atmosphere.
Restaurants that meet the expectations can be awarded one, two or three stars and often feature the most prestige chefs from across the world.
Maybe you’re graduating from University, celebrating an engagement or perhaps you just fancy a luxurious date night, Michelin star restaurants are a great location for a fine-dining experience.
We’ve rounded up the top four Michelin star restaurants in South London.
Chez Bruce – Wandsworth
This Michelin star restaurant serves the very vest food and drink but with a relaxed, informal, and tranquil environment.
Chez Bruce is positioned overlooking the expanse of Wandsworth Common and features a minimalist colour scheme throughout the interior.
The restaurant offers dishes such as Chateaubriand with hand-cut chips, Anjou pigeon with ravioli, shallot puree, lettuce, bacon and peas and Stuffed courgette with creamed datterini tomatoes, borlotti beans and basil.
Trinity – Clapham
Trinity is a privately-owned Michelin star restaurant situated in the heart of Clapham Old Town.
The success of Trinity is motivated by providing their guests with a “memorable gastronomic experience”.
On the menu you’ll find the likes of crispy pigs’ trotters and Dover Sole ‘Bonne Femme’ and features a wine list that runs to some 450 bins with strong representation in Burgundy and Bordeaux.
The Dystart - Petersham
Located within the London borough of Richmond, The Dysart is a one-of-a-kind restaurant in the village of Petersham.
The menu prides itself on deliciously natural flavours and features a romantic atmosphere with candlelit interiors.
Guests can enjoy a 9-course tasting menu for £110 or enjoy a 3-course dinner at just £70 per person.
The Glasshouse – Kew Gardens
Situated within minutes of the London suburb gardens, the open-spaced area of The Glasshouse offers a more tranquil dining experience than the Michelin restaurants in Mayfair.
The Glasshouse gained a Michelin star in 2022 and has maintained an outstanding reputation for food, wine, and customer care.
The Glasshouse will be closed for annual holidays, commencing from July 31, 2022.
