The National Pub and Bar awards has announced its winner for the 2022 accolade, with Blue Boar Pub taking home the award for London.
Nearly 100 pubs and bars were recently named in The National Pub & Bar Awards for 2022, celebrating their successes.
In London, the Blue Boar Pub in Westminster took the acclaim, winning the overall best pub for the area.
It was then entered into the national draw to find out the best pub in the UK, winning the best for London.
The event, which aims to showcase the UK’s finest pubs and bars on a national scale, crowned the best venues within 94 counties across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, as well as the ultimate National Pub & Bar of the Year at the ceremony.
The Blue Boar Pub is self-described as a "comfortable and relaxed modern take on the classic London pub" adding that at its heart "is a real local".
Serving an array of craft and international beers and ales, a diverse wine list, and a few cheeky cocktails along with some top-tier spirits.
And it seems the National Pub and Bar awards aren't the only one's to praise the pub with Tripadvisor all sharing their thoughts.
One user said: " We enjoyed everything about the Blue Boar, relaxing ambiance, great service, but most importantly, absolutely delicious food. A wonderful start to our London visit!"
