London restaurants have taken the crown at this year's National Restaurant Awards as the winners are announced.
More than 61 top London restaurants have made the cut for the exciting list that is filled with new openings and talented chefs.
Known as the most prestigious awards among restaurants, the National Restaurant Awards is an annual event that lists the country's top 100 restaurants with special awards given out too.
The awards are voted by a panel of judges from across the hospitality and media industries.
And on Monday, June 13, the winners were announced in a special awards ceremony at The Hurlingham Club in Fulham.
National Restaurant Awards 2022 London Winners:
The list of the UK's top 100 restaurants saw 61 London-based restaurants grab a spot.
London is known as the culinary powerhouse and epicentre of cooking in the UK, with new and exciting restaurants popping up across the capital.
And the list reflects that, with many new eateries taking an acclaimed spot on the winner's list.
Claiming the highest spot for a London restaurant was wood-fired grill restaurant Brat which came in third.
And in a surprise for many, the historical The Ritz take fourth place moving up 40 places from 2021, and also won The Service Award.
Plus The Ritz's head chef Spencer Metzger grabbed an award for himself with the title of Chef to Watch award.
The winner of the fifth spot and the Opening of the Year award was BiBi, a progressive Indian restaurant that blends traditional subcontinental cookery with development and produce-led approach.
