London based on-demand convenience app Zapp has announced it will be hosting the first ultra-fast delivery Period Store.
Launching on Saturday (May 28), in time for National Period Hygiene Day, it will be the first dedicated period store on a convenience app.
The store will have an array of period products from organic tampons and pads, menstrual cups, liners, and even treats, hot water bottles, magnesium products and more.
Plus the brand will also donate £2 to Period Poverty UK for every hot water, described as an ‘oxytocin-boosting hug for your uterus' bottle sold.
It also plans to join the likes of other retailers like Boots and Asda by scrapping the term 'intimate care' to remove the stigma around menstrual cycles.
Silje Renberg Kvaavik, Zapp Catalogue Manager commented, “We’re so happy to be able to extend our ‘need it now’ products to include period products.
"We hope these will not only be Zapped by people needing them, and fast, but also by friends and family to someone suffering with period pains.”
Zapp delivers to most of London, within minutes, making it perfect for people looking for quick pain relief and mood-boosting solutions during their period.
