A TEENAGE boy was stabbed outside the gates of a school on Tuesday.
London Ambulance Service was called to Teddington School, Broom Road, at around 12.30pm yesterday following reports of an incident.
The boy was treated for stab wounds before being taken to a major trauma centre.
Teddington School said he had injuries to his hip and hand.
The school opened as normal today after the headteacher assured parents that “the students are safe in school”.
Broom Road was closed throughout Tuesday while investigations were carried out.
Police said they will be carrying out patrols in the area surrounding the school and in Langdon Park over the next few days.
It is not known whether the boy is a pupil at the school.
