A fire has damaged the roof at a terraced home in Barnes and destroyed the exterior fascia as well as an adjacent neighbour’s balcony.
Firefighters were called to Archway Street in Barnes, Richmond, at around 11pm on Thursday night after the brigade received eight calls reporting the blaze.
The fire was brought under control by 12.39am.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from Richmond, Wandsworth, Chiswick and Fulham fire stations attended the scene.
There were no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Archway Street in Barnes.
“The exterior fascia of a terraced house was destroyed and a small part of the roof was damaged by fire.
“The external balcony of an adjacent property was also destroyed by the blaze.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took eight calls to the fire.
“The Brigade was called at 2255 and the fire was under control by 0039. Fire crews from Richmond, Wandsworth, Chiswick and Fulham fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.”
