A driver was caught speeding in Richmond Park this morning - and according to police it's because he was "late for work".
Royal Parks officers say the VW Golf driver was clocked doing 38mph in the 20mph zone.
When asked what the rush was, he claimed he was "late for work".
Further enquiries then reportedly showed that he was a provisional licence holder with no insurance.
Royal Parks police hashtagged "#GetTheBus" as they said the car was seized and the driver reported.
