Three people have been arrested after a man was seen reportedly seen with a machete near TK Maxx in Kingston.
Police were called to reports of an incident involving a group of men in Clarence Street at around 4.15pm yesterday (March 29).
Three men were then located and arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon with the help of CCTV and a police helicopter.
Officers say they are aware of reports of a noxious substance being sprayed but the liquid was found to be water.

A spokesperson for Kingston Police said: "Kingston Police are appealing for witnesses to disorder in Kingston Town Centre on 29/3/22 near TK MAXX at about 4:20pm.
"In particular, we are asking those who may have recordings or dashcam footage to contact us. Police were called to Clarence Street at around 4.15pm to a report of an incident involving a group of males, at least one of which seen with a machete.
"With help of CCTV and the police helicopter three males were located and arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
"We are aware of reports a noxious substance sprayed but the substance was found to be water.
"If you have footage of this incident we would ask you contact us on 101, or on our website with reference to CAD 5104/29Mar22."
