Police have issued a stern warning after Richmond Park turned into a "rubbish tip" amid the warm weather.
Royal Parks Police officers took a photo of litter in the park this morning - reminding park go-ers that a bin was no more than thirty feet away.
They also reminded sun-revellers that discarded litter can kill wildlife.
The force department has said it will not tolerate littering and offenders will be prosecuted.
